Jack is the Taxation and Estate Planning expert of Zhang & Zhang Law Office. He specializes in IRS audit, legal entity taxation planning and organization structures, personal tax planning and estate planning, special tax-saving trusts and other tax matters. He coor- dinates with clients’ own advisors to ensure all planning and solutions are aligned with our clients’ objectives. With a broad base of experience in both tax, law, and tax court he has the benefit of bringing a holistic perspective on tax planning.
Jack’s tax career spans 16 years and evolved quickly from tax preparation to progressive tax planning. His ability to break down complex tax structures and uncovering risks that are not readily apparent have helped many families avoid crippling financial problems.
His ability has been shaped by his willingness to challenge himself to take on diverse professional roles such as serving as a tax consultant for Wolters Kluwer supporting the development of tax, accounting, and audit software. He has also held positions with the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Attorney’s Office and was an Associate with Chugh, a professional services firm that provides both tax & accounting services and legal services ranging from real estate law, to corporate law.
Jack earned his Masters of Business Taxation degree from University of Southern California (USC) and his JD from Southwestern University. He enjoys outdoor activities and is an active supporter of the Accounting Society of the Highlander Newspaper.
