Ms. Zhang has spent most of her legal career focusing on providing legal advice for privately owned businesses and their owners at various stages of their development. Her practice area includes business and entrepreneur immigration, business organization, strategic affiliation, and cross-border negotiation for U.S./China businesses. Having been involved in business transactions of significant scale, as well as synergies and conflicts between U.S./China business cultures, she brings invaluable cross-culture business experience to complement her legal expertise.
Ms. Zhang began her legal career in immigration following the pathway of the dramatic trade growth between the U.S. and China. While helping her clients and their families to move to the U.S., she also assisted them with their business legal needs. Since then, Ms. Zhang has negotiated over $200 Million in transactions on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Zhang facilitates the establishment of a presence in the U.S.A. for individual clients and their businesses through business visa and immigration process including L-1 & EB-5 visa. Integrating with the growth of the business, she counsels the owners as they launch and manage strategic business alliances. Additionally, she performs due diligence, evaluates legal risk factors regarding business decisions and operations, provides alternative dispute resolution, and collaborates with management to devise efficient strategies that are both proactive and defensive.
Ms. Zhang is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is licensed to practice law in both California and New York. She earned her Master of Laws degree from University of Southern California. She also graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Finance (International Banking).
